Measurements at the Circular Materials Center (Kortrijk)

03.12.2021

On 03.12.2021, project partner IMT Lille Douai carried out measurements in the Circular Materials Center as part of their research into optimizing a laser welding connection. KU Leuven is a partner in the Circular Material Center in Kortrijk.

Within the Athens project and within the framework of the PhD of Rowshni Jabeen (working at IMT Lille Douai), measurements on the thermal conductivity of plastics were performed on December 3, 2021. The C-Therm Trident appliance was used for this, which is currently located in the Circular material center in Kortrijk. These measurements fit within the cross-border collaboration of KU Leuven and IMT Lille Douai.
